The northern boundary of Cassafuir Farm is Loch Rusky and with the Ruskie Burn as the western march, the farm faces South towards Gargunnock Hills over looking the Carse. The land comprises of a third open muir and two thirds in-bye permanent pasture for silage production and grazing.
Silage is cropped each year to provide winter fodder for the Luings and cattle wintered in the cattle court. The farm is a member of the Quality Meat Scotland Assurance Scheme and is approved for cattle. www.sfqc.co.uk
Cassafuir is also a registered producer and packer of free range eggs. The birds, include Black Rocks, ISA Browns and Lohmann Browns, have free access to fields, woodland and hedgerows.
